Home Nations – Monkstone Pétanque Club – 2015
Message from the President: –
I would like to say a big, big, big, big THANK YOU to every member of the Monkstone Pétanque Club, (and family and friends,) who helped contribute to a tremendously successful ‘Home Nations’ weekend. I also thank that happy band of hard working individuals who played major roles in ensuring all the construction work, painting, planting, tidying, organising, co-ordinating and liaising was completed in good time for the competition. A group of you gave up a huge amount of time, energy, skills and experience to develop an environment that is truly exceptional.( It all started some 5 months ago!!!).
No matter how big or small your contribution to the club, everybody can be proud of the progress we have made. As your President, I am extremely grateful for the support you have given and the way in which we have, collectively, presented a first class venue for playing the game we all love.
The feedback from the weekend has been 100% positive. The efficiency of service, the presentation of the playing area and environment, and the tremendous atmosphere were all factors that made the comp. a GREAT SUCCESS. The marquee was a very productive addition and it proved to be a financially worthwhile venture. Both raffles generated really good support and nobody should underestimate the impact their help has had on both clubs at Penylan.
WELL DONE EVERYBODY !!!!
Mike J. ( President ).
