Many happy returns to Angela who celebrated a significant birthday this week and was joined at the Parc Golf Club in Newport by some fellow MPC Members to mark the occasion on Sunday!

We wish Angela a very Happy Birthday and all the best for the years to come! She’s still clearly a very beautiful woman!

And a wonderful person to 🙂 !!

National Precision Shooting Champion

The 2015 National Shooting Champion is our very own Peter Westall, who took the title last Sunday (17th May) at Caerleon RFC PC.

Peter undertook a series of 5 disciplines, not once, but 5 times to reach the final against last year’s champion Kon Tomczyk, Peter won the encounter 19/11.

Peter’s scores were:

Round 1 – 16 points
Round 2 – 10 points
Round 3 – 22 points
Round 4 – 26 points &
Round 5 – 19 points

The highest score of the day was 30 points recorded by Kon Tomczyk.

Well done Peter!

Ladies’ – Triples 2015

MonkstoneWell how amazing that we were able to put out two monkstone ladies teams in the triples!

Even though the teams had differing levels of success both teams played their hearts out and represented our club with pride. A very well done to Vickie, Rose and Joanie who managed to win 3 games and also beat one of the top teams, and to Carol, Gill, Heather and Margaret who managed to win 2! This was the very first time Margaret has played in a match and the first time she, Gill, Carol and Heather played in a team, so a really good result. Above all, a fantastic day was had by all.
