On Friday last, a number of Monkstone Members gathered to pay their final respects and say goodbye to Ian Campbell at Thornhill Crematorium. Ian was a well respected member of the club having joined in 2022.
Ian was an ex-police sergeant and many of his former colleagues were present including the South Wales Police standard bearer.
Ian died suddenly and unexpectedly on 25 February 2026 and will be missed by all club members but especially the members of the Monarchs League team who he joined a couple of years ago from the Marauders.
Our thoughts are with Moya, his wife, and the rest of his family including children and grandchildren.
