This is the first year of the Monkstone PC Winter Singles and has been inaugurated by club member Claude Le Razavet following the success of the Monkstone Club Singles competition over the last 2 years.
The 2026/27 edition of the competition has 32 entries. The pool stage of the competition will take place between September and November 2026 before taking a mid-winter break, and recommencing in January 2027 with the elimination stage. The pools were established by a random draw with some element of seeding.
