The 2026 edition of the MPC President’s Cup took place on 11 October with 24 members taking part. The competition format was 3 round melee.
After 2 rounds there were only 5 players on 2 wins `Len Christian (+24), Gill Clark (+21), Sean Smith (+14), Lynden Francis (+8) nd Lloyd Kinsey (+5). If either Len or Gill won their 3rd game then it looked unlikely that they could be caught but Gill would need a better points difference than Len – by a margin of +4.
So it proved to be – both Len and Gill won but Gill had (+12) whereas Len only managed (+2) giving Gill the President’s Cup with 3 wins (+33).
