IT’S HERE – THE FIRST £100+ FIRST PRIZE IN THE CLUB 100

The October draw was made on 26 October 2024 at the Club. The lucky winners were:

Yes, the Club 100 has now reached 68 members which means the monthly first prize has passed the £100 mark for the first time. The total monthly prize pot is also the highest ever at £153. In addition there is a bonus draw in December for a prize of £150+ (depending on the number of members). Grateful thanks to all those Monkstone Club members and others who support the petanque club through the Club 100. If you are not a member please consider joining.  The more people that join the bigger the prizes and the more improvements we can make to YOUR Club.

After Week 5 of the Super League, Meerkats consolidated their lead at the top of the table with a win over Mammoths (4-0) who are still seeking their first win of the season. Mustangs continued their march up the table to second place with a win against Marvels (3-1).

Mercenaries slid down the table again after only managing a draw against Marlins who are also still seeking their first win while Mavericks climbed away from the bottom half of the table by beating Misfits (3-1).

The first week of the 2024 Super League took place this week.

The Mercenaries and the Mustangs made a strong start with wins whilst the Marlins and the Mavericks will be looking for their first points this week.

The final round round of the first half of Super League was finally completed on Sunday 5 November 2023 and the league will recommence on 20 February 2024.

Wednesday 1 November saw 2 matches being played. Mammoths were surprisingly beaten by Meerkats 1[36]-3[50] who recorded their first win of the season whilst in the second game Marlins comprehensively beat  Mavericks 0[26]-4[52] to consolidate their position at the top of the table.

The final match took place on Sunday 5 November when Mercenaries and Mustangs shared the spoils 2[43[-2[38].
