Ian was a well respected member of the club having joined in 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\">Ian was an ex-police sergeant and many of his former colleagues were present including the South Wales Police standard bearer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\">Ian died suddenly and unexpectedly on 25 February 2026 and will be missed by all club members but especially the members of the Monarchs League team who he joined a couple of years ago from the Marauders.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\">Our thoughts are with Moya, his wife, and the rest of his family including children and grandchildren.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333399;\">RIP Ian &#8211; at rest.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Friday last, a number of Monkstone Members gathered to pay their final respects and say goodbye to Ian Campbell at Thornhill Crematorium.
