{"id":3538,"date":"2021-04-04T23:08:35","date_gmt":"2021-04-04T22:08:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.monkstonepetanque.org.uk\/?p=3538"},"modified":"2021-04-04T23:20:30","modified_gmt":"2021-04-04T22:20:30","slug":"its-competition-time-we-hope","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.monkstonepetanque.org.uk\/?p=3538","title":{"rendered":"It&#8217;s Competition Time &#8211; We Hope!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\">Subject to the final confirmation of the announcement from the Welsh Government that we will return to Alert Level 3 and 30 people will be allowed at organised outdoor sports from 3 May 2021, the much delayed 2020 Club competitions will take place as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\">2020 Xmas Melee &#8211; Sunday 9 May 2021 @ 11:00am (limited to 30 players)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\">2020 Club Doubles &#8211; Sunday 16 May 2021 @ 11:00am (limited to 24 players)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\">The entries made for the original competitions have been deleted so, if you want to enter these competitions, you must book again. The booking system is now open.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\">Both competitions will take place as melees. The Xmas Melee will be a normal melee, whilst the Club Doubles will be a doubles melee where the pairs will be drawn before the competition and stay together for all 3 rounds.
