\nWales\u00a06: Rose and Vickie (with Julie Bailey and Gay Evans)
\nWales\u00a08: Bernard, Mike Jones, Peredur and Roger.<\/p>\n

Only nine teams entered the qualifiers and therefore the chances of qualifying were much better than previous years. However, Roger’s team still decided to leave it to the very last game to secure a place in the top eight.
