This is usually a\u00a0closed club event (and the most popular event in their\u00a0calendar) but as they now have lots of lovely new pistes they\u00a0are opening it up to all.<\/p>\n<p>The entry fee is \u00a35 which includes a\u00a0generous buffet lunch and prizes (as well\u00a0as traditional 1st 2nd and 3rd, prizes are awarded\u00a0for the most average score, spoon\u00a0and best fancy dress).<\/p>\n<p>There will be at least 4 games (more if the\u00a0weather is kind), and possibly some\u00a0fun\u00a0shooting and pointing competitions in the\u00a0lunch break.\u00a0French themed fancy dress is encouraged\u00a0(and rewarded).<\/p>\n<p>Start time will be 10.30am registration for 11am start.\u00a0Places are secured by payment \u2013 cheques can be made\u00a0payable to Caerleon RFC Petanque Club and sent to 14\u00a0Glanrhyd, Coedeva, Cwmbran NP44 6TY or entry fee can be\u00a0paid on the day provided pre entry is confirmed by closing\u00a0date.<\/p>\n<p>Closing date for entries is Saturday July 4th!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To celebrate the opening of their\u00a0new pistes, Caerleon RFC PC are pleased to\u00a0invite you to their\u00a0annual Bastille Day melee.
